Roullete (French: “wheel of fate”), sometimes referred to simply as roulette, is one of the world’s most popular casino games. The game consists of a spinning wheel with 37 compartments, each painted alternately red and black. A central numbered segment, called the “zero” on European wheels and a double-zero on American wheels, carries a green sign with the number 0. Thirty-six of these compartments are labeled consecutively from 1 through 36 while the other three have different symmetries: all low red numbers, all high black numbers, or both.
